The conversation most managers avoid.

A two-day intensive for first-time and mid-level managers who need to move from understanding people leadership to handling real managerial moments with clarity and readiness.

Why manager capability often breaks down in the moment

The most common manager capability gap does not show up in a knowledge assessment.

Managers know what good leadership looks like. The harder question is whether they have ever practised it before the stakes are real.

In our work with manager cohorts, the pattern is consistent. Managers rarely struggle because they lack frameworks. They struggle when the moment requires judgment, language, confidence, and emotional discipline, all at once.

Most managers don't fail because they lack ambition. They fail because no one taught them how to lead, and no one gave them a safe place to practise before the stakes were real.

The Programme

Managers Bootcamp

A two-day intensive for new and developing managers. The programme builds the core management skills managers need, not as concepts to understand, but as behaviours they can apply immediately.

01

Manager by Design

A facilitated leadership simulation where managers draw from their own leadership history and pivotal moments to navigate realistic team scenarios across trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results. Participants leave with a clear behavioural profile: a specific picture of how they lead under pressure, before those patterns play out with real people on their team.

02

REPS

Solutional's AI-powered practice gym for difficult conversations. Managers rehearse real workplace moments, from the defensive team member to the resistant stakeholder, receive specific feedback on what landed and what did not, and attempt the conversation again with one clear improvement.

What managers practise

The core management skills new managers need.

01

Leading with clarity

Understanding default leadership style, when to flex it, and how to build credibility early in role.

02

Communication that drives performance

Active listening, direct feedback, delegation, clear expectations, authority levels, and follow-through.

03

Performance, conflict, and goal setting

Setting standards, running one-on-ones, addressing underperformance, resolving tension, and building SMART goals.

04

Change, motivation, and mindset

Managing resistance, communicating change, understanding motivation drivers, and creating an environment where people want to perform.

05

30-day action planning

Each participant names behavioural commitments, the real team situations where they will apply them, and success indicators.

06

On-the-job toolkit

Managers leave with job aids including a delegation checklist, one-on-one guide, feedback model card, goal-setting template, and conflict map.

How the bootcamp works

See your patterns. Practise the moments.

Step 01
Workshop
Managers build the core frameworks, language, and leadership practices needed to handle real people-management moments with clarity.
Step 02
Manager by Design (Simulation)
Managers draw from their own leadership history and pivotal moments to see the patterns that shape how they lead under pressure.
Step 03
Practice and application
Managers move from framework to scenario, practice, feedback, and workplace application through REPS simulation.
Step 04
Reinforcement
Participants use job aids, a manager toolkit, and a 30-day plan to carry the learning into real team situations.

What changes after the bootcamp

Managers leave with more than concepts.

Managers leave with a clear picture of their leadership style and when to flex it. Performance conversations stop being avoided. Feedback becomes direct without being damaging. Delegation shifts from instruction to genuine ownership. Team tension gets addressed before it escalates. Goals are set with clarity, tracked meaningfully, and followed through without micromanagement. And managers build the practical habits that protect their time and energy over the long run.
